Congratulations to Truman on passing his qualifying exam!
Congratulations to Truman who passed his PhD qualifying exam today! He will be studying the role of tissue mechanics and bacterial sphingolipids in mediating host-pathogen interactions.
New grant to study bacterial sphingolipids
The Klein and Brannigan labs (RUC-Physics) were awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation to study the synthesis and physiological functions of bacterial sphingolipids. This work will entail a combination of experiemental methods and Molecular Dynamics simulation.
Gitai Lab Reunion at Bacterial Surfaces GRC
